How are my keys handled?
We ask for 2 sets of keys if possible. We understand it might not be possible if you have high-security keys or live in a high rise. 1 set of keys stays in your provided Urban Tailz lockbox that you have access to at anytime, and 1 set stays in office in case of emergency. If you live in a doorman building, then it's completely fine to leave a set with the doorman. We are also comfortable using garage codes or codes if you have a pin-code lock installed.
Urban Tailz will hold onto keys for up to 1 year of client inactivity for dog walking clients and 2 years of inactivity for cat sitting clients. We will destroy keys after these periods of inactivity.
